Boaters should use caution when launching their boats to avoid the metal poles where the dock used to be. At this stage we do not know when or if the metal dock will be reinstalled.

Also, with the high winds today and if it should continue throughout the weekend, please use caution with firepits and fireworks. Unit owners are reminded that fireworks are not allowed after 11 pm. Please apply some common sense and respect for your neighbors and we will all have a great long weekend.

Apr. 18WE GOT POWER!!!
The power was restored at approximately 4:30 pm Sunday, April 18th. If you have not already done so you should probably check your cabin, especially if you have perishable items in your refrigerators/freezers.

Apr. 17POWER OUTAGE!!!
As of 11:30 am April 16. 2010 Fortis Alberta is still unable to provide a timeline as to when power will be restored at Little Bow Resort. Crews are working in the area and there is a possibility power may be restored as early as this evening although it could still be the weekend before power is restored.

If you have foodstuffs in your refrigerator/freezer in your cabin they will soon start to go bad. We encourage you to check your cabin if you have perishable food stuffs in refrigerator/freezers or other electrical appliances/systems that could be affected by the electrical outage.

If you are at the resort we ask that you not use water, flush toilets etc. as with no power the sewage lift station is not functioning and when the station fills up a vacuum truck must be engaged to remove the sewage.

We will keep you advised of any changes regarding the power outage.

I am making this change to the web site from one of our friend's farm!!! It's nice to have friends and have a shower!!!
